Short answer

For seafood by the water, go to Lomma harbour: Fiskboden, Bistro L and Puerto 34 on Kajgatan. For meat, Slaktaren on Seglaregatan; for pizza, Casa Nostra or Pizzeria Lomma; for sushi, M' Sushi Lounge, Ronin Sushi or Gasolin Sushi. In Bjärred, Restaurang Charm is our Thai standout and Bjerreds Saltsjöbad at the end of Långa Bryggan is the setting to remember. Seafood and the harbour

Kajgatan is Lomma's dining street: Fiskboden for fish and seafood, Bistro L for an evening meal, Puerto 34 for tapas and Lomma Glassfabrik for ice cream afterwards.

Meat, pizza and a pub evening

Slaktaren (Seglaregatan 2) is the meat-focused choice. Casa Nostra (Järnvägsgatan 4) and Pizzeria Lomma (Strandvägen 109) cover pizza, and Lomma Krogen (Strandvägen 89) is the pub.

Sushi and Asian

Three sushi kitchens in Lomma: M' Sushi Lounge on Hamntorget, Ronin Sushi on Varvstorget and Gasolin Sushi on Strandvägen. Coco's Hut (Strandvägen 111) is the Asian alternative.

Coffee, bakeries and the beach

Konditori Syrenen (Syréngatan 8) is the traditional konditori. On the beach itself, Lomma Beach House combines a café-restaurant with water sports.

Worth the short trip to Bjärred and Borgeby

Bjärred has a food scene that, in our view, punches well above its size: Restaurang Charm for Thai, Bjerreds Station's garden, Bjerreds Saltsjöbad on the pier and Italian at Il Brigante and Bella Napoli. In Borgeby, the stone-oven bakery is a weekend favourite.
