Big skies, apple orchards and the sea in every direction
Skåne's south-east corner has a light that has drawn artists for generations. Rolling fields meet sandy beaches, fishing villages smell of smoked herring, and ancient stones stand on the cliffs looking out to sea. Take it slowly — Österlen is best enjoyed one café and one view at a time.

Dramatic cliffs, a lighthouse and storybook fishing villages
Where Skåne reaches out into Kattegatt, the land rises into the wild ridge of Kullaberg. Wind-bent beech woods lead to steep cliffs, hidden coves and one of Sweden's most famous lighthouses. Below lie Mölle and Arild — charming villages of narrow lanes, harbours and summer cafés.

Red cliffs, island boat trips and the tennis town of Båstad
The peninsula on Skåne's north-west coast feels like a little world of its own: rolling farmland, the red rocks of Hovs hallar, the old fishing village of Torekov and elegant Båstad by the bay. Come for the coastal walks, stay for the sunsets — and a boat to Hallands Väderö if the weather is kind.
